So...what do you wanna know?

SPEAK! ...or show...whatever... Do you.

This is where the description of this blog goes. I disclaim: I've recently become obsessed with Glee and Amber Riley specifically. Thusly, my once normal blog full of all things me has now been hijacked by all things Glee...and Amber Riley. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause my regular blog viewers. I do not know how long this fangirl psychosis will last. But I'm enjoying the ride thus far. Hope you will too.

Major in the Grace of God

xynthiah:

When paul sent Timothy off to Spiritual University, he told him to major in the grace of God: “you therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1 nkjv).

Do the same. Focus on the cross. It’s so easy to be distracted, so easy to be unfrateful, to make the mistake of Scott Simpson’s Caddy. Scott is a pro Golfer who plays often at the Master;s Golf tournament, hosted by the Augusta National Golf Club. Augusta National is to golfers what the smithsonian is to history buffas. the Ultimate experience. The course explodes in beauty, you would think you were walking on an oil painting. Groomers manicure the course as if she were a wedding-day bride. In describing it perfection to his caddy, scott commented, “you wont see a single weed all week.” Imagine Scott’s surprise when, on sunday, after five days of walking the course, His caddy pointed to the ground and announced to scott, “I found ONE!”

Dont we do the same? We dwell in a garden of grace. God’s love sprouts around us like lilacs and towers over us like Georgia pine. But we go on “weed hunts” How many flowers do we miss in the process?

If you look long and hard enough, you’ll find something to bellyache about, so quit looking! The caddy missed the good, the beauty of the course, because he was too busy looking for the bad, the weeds. Stop weed hunting! Look around for the flowers, and Major in the grace of God.
